A career, an income, the necessities, the nice to haves, money, people, we’re at a time when the stuff we have isn’t good enough. The others have it better. Succumbed by the lure of social sharing, we’re drawn in to the shiny, happy uploads like flies to a honey-pot.
We all want success & we want it now. Never once do we reflect upon the things unshared n unsaid. Our elders worked hard for decades on end, relying on the compounded power of their efforts to raise us. Yet, we want at the age of 30, what they’re still working towards achieving at the age of 50.
It isn’t enough. Nothing is. For the neighbours have it better & we must not just match them, but outdo them, leaving them stunned in our wake. The grass is indeed greener on the other side…
